Cpl. 1st Cl. of the Signal Corps took this photograph on Sept. 25, 1918. It shows women depot laborers at the Salvage Plant in France assembling Ford cars. Ten women built eight cars on the first day. In the image, from left to right, are Capt. George H. Adans, Major Will Brown, Capt. K. G. Martin, 2nd Lieut. J. E. Corby, and Capt. Robt. The image is part of the collection of American military activities during World War One.
