Leesburg conglomerate, Leesburg , Virginia, more precisely:Leesburg Conglomerate Member of the Bull Run Formation described as gray carbonate pebble conglomerate in a red sand-silt matrix. The pebbles are predominantly dolomite in the north and limestone in the south. The Leesburg is present from south of Leesburg northward across the Potomac River into Montgomery Co., Md., used to make columns in the statue room of the US capitol building
