The summer resorts of California are generally crowded duringthe June vacation of the schools; and the best accommodations areusually engaged far in advance for that month, and prices are alsohigher then than when business is dull. It is always well, especiallywhen there are several in a party, to write for terms, and if thehouse is not very near the station, about conveyance.
