Three Mile Island nuclear power station, seen from across the Susquehanna River at night. This power station was the site of a nuclear accident on the 28th March 1979. The accident occurred in the Unit 2 reactor, which suffered a partial meltdown. No deaths or injuries were caused by the accident. The Unit 1 reactor is still operational and its cooling towers can be seen in the background. Photographed near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.
