McDonnel Douglas A-4N Skyhawk C-FGZO


American on-board assault plane manufactured by Douglas (from 1967 McDonnell Douglas). Work on the design of the aircraft began in the early 1950s. The prototype was flown on June 29, 1954. Airplanes in various versions took part in the Vietnam War, the Middle East conflicts in 1967 and 1973, and the Falkland War-Malvinas in 1982. Production ended in 1979. Approximately 2,900 combat versions and approximately 600 training versions were produced.
