The German Alpine Club, Olperer Hut mountain refuge in the Zilletal Alps of the Austrian Tirol on the Berliner Hoehen Weg long distance walking trail as it was in 1992. The hut suffered severe avalanche damage in 1998. The hut has since been replaced with a new hut. The hut overlooks the Schlegies reservoir and the main peaks of the Zillertal Alps
