NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (April 21, 2017) – A Sailor assigned to Naval Base Kitsap (NBK) performs his role in the installation’s annual Earth Day cleaning, by shoveling and disposing yard litter from the NBK Quarterdeck parking lot. The cleanup recognizes Earth Day by revitalizing the base, while sustaining a safe and pleasant work environment. Sailors participating in the event focused their efforts on ground maintenance, including trash removal, recycling, and yard litter around NBK facilities.
