Sandhill Crane closeup headshot with blurred background

The Sandhill Crane is one of the most common of all cranes. It is believed they have been around as many as ten million years as a fossil was found to be structurally similar to our modern crane. They are omnivores, they mate for life, and live in the wild for approximately 20 years.
