Plume Moth, Amblyptilia acanthadactyla, Pterophorinae, Pterophoridae, Lepidoptera. This moth is distributed widely over much of Britain and Ireland, and, since the 1990s, has become much more frequent, including in gardens. Found on a front door near cultivated geraniums (one of the preferred food plants of the larva of this micro-moth).
