Monument inaugurated in 2003, the work of the sculptor Etsuro Sotoo, who is also the author of some of the sculptures of the Sagrada Familia. The work represents a lacemaker at work and adopts soft and sinuous forms that are reminiscent of modernist sculpture. The base serves as a bench and a playground for the little ones. The different pieces of the monument were made in China.
