American troops in Fiume, Hungary: A platoon from Co. G, 2nd Battalion, 332 Infantry, along with Italian troops, marches into Fiume on November 11, 1918. This was the first time American troops entered the city, which had previously been occupied by representatives of the new Jugo-Slav nation. The Hungarian Governor was driven out on October 29th.
