The name was formed as an acronym from the word beginnings of French (le) croissant and ( la ) baguette . The range includes baked goods, salads, as well as hot and cold drinks. The shops are mostly located in train stations and are mostly operated by franchisees . Le Crobag is represented in around 35 German cities. Outside of Germany there are further sales shops in Austria and number of employees including the franchisees is approx. 1,250 (as of 2019). In 2019 the company had 7 trainees.
