A Yellow belly Piranha is caught hanging onto a piece of fresh beef used as bait on a piece of wire attached to a short cane used as a fishing rod by an angler in the Mutum river in the Pantanal in Brazil. The vast region attracts much tourism for its abundance of wildlife, flora and rainforests, which generates a lot of income into the local economy. The Pantanal is the world’s largest wetland of 42 million acres covering parts of two neighbouring countries, Bolivia and Paraguay. Brazil has the largest area of this pristine ecosystem.
