Glycimeris corteziana Dall (PI. 11, figs. 2, 2a). Similar to G. suhobsoleta in shape and sculpture, but smaller and lighter in color (white, sometimes tinged with brown on in- terior margin), with wider hinge-plate with central teeth set far back from its margin, and extremely narrow ligamental area. Our largest specimen measures 20 x millimeters, somewhat smaller than Dr. Ball's type. 113.
