Early, uniformly large and handsome; a good ship- per and a long keeper. The skin and flesh are of splendid color, and it has no equal as a shipping melon. Vine vigorous and productive, ripening its fruit early. Fruit large, oval, very heavy, uniformly mottled light and very light green. Rind thin but firm. Flesh bright red, firm, solid, but very tender? melting and sweet. Fruit remains in condition for use longer than any other sort. Seeds gray. Pkt., 5 cts.; oz., 10 cts. Cosmopolitan Musk Melon.
