Until thisis done and the soils and other conditions of these districts have beenthoroughly examined it will not be safe to generalize much from thelimited amount of data which has been obtained. Six samples have been examined from the Vuelta Abajo district andfour from the Eemedios district around Camajuani. The samples fromeach of these localities are very uniform, and it is believed that theyrepresent somewhat closely the typical soil conditions. An illustrat
