Samuel Land, the oldest man (in years)at East Side, has changed his occujiation ofcaretaker at the Rest House to janitor inthe Yardmasters Office. We will say thisfor him: we can see through the windowsnow; formerly it was a hard job. I had occasion to notice the other daylittle engine \o. 74 which has no tenderand seems to be only about 10 feet long andabout as high, pushing an enonnous tender out of the roundhouse to theturntable and then on to the farm.
