Kate Young, Member of Parliament London West, Liberal Party of Canada, showing her support for the LGBT community at the London Pride Parade 2019. Kate Young MP is a Canadian politician, who was elected to represent the riding of London West in the House of Commons of Canada in the 2015 federal election. Young is formerly a news anchor of London's CFPL-TV, and was the communication manager at Thames Valley District school board prior to her election. After her election in 2015, Young was appointed the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport. In a 2017 cabinet reshuffle, Young was moved to the position of parliamentary secretary to the Minister of Science.
