Araliya flower (Temple tree, Arali in Tamil, botanical name is Plumeria obtusa) originated in Central America . Some believe Araliya flowers are in Sigiriya frescos, and if it`s true, Araliya must be one of the oldest common flowers in Sri Lankan culture.
