Lumbosacral plexus anatomy, illustration. A nerve plexus is a network or grouping of nerves. The four primary nerve plexuses are the cervical, brachial plexus, lumbar and sacral plexuses. The latter two, sometimes referred to at the lumbosacral plexus, consists of the lumbar nerves, sacral nerves, and coccygeal nerve. The nerves branch from the spinal cord to supply abdominal organs and the legs.
