A Common Dolphin dead on a beach Thurlestone south Devon Great Britain
During the winter dead dolphins are frequently washed up onto the beaches of southwest England, often drowned as a result of being caught accidentally in fishing nets. The death toll is quite high and appears to be having a serious impact on dolphin populations off the coast of southwest Britain. This Commmon Dolphin was found on the beach at Thurlestone, Devon, southwest England.
