Itsanterior border is about three mches from themedian Ime of the forehead, and about half anhich in front of a vertical Ime drawn up^^•ardsfrom the uisertion of the ear. Its breadth isabout two inches at the widest part. Themaximum lies in the temporal fossa, just abovethe upper border of the zygoma. The pain is said to be in the temple , or,if bUateral, to shoot through from temple totemple . (4) Maxillary.—This is a very easy area todefuie. It lies over the maxilla, extendmg asfar forwards as the lateral fold between thenose and the cheek. Its upper border is formedby the lower margin of the bony orbit.
