Head large, generally bony, rough on the sides and above; interorbital space as broad as the upper eyelid ; tym- panum very distinct, two thirds or three fourths the size of the eye. Eingers short, first not extending beyond second; toes short, half webbed; inner metatarsal tubercle shovel-like, as long as the second toe ; no other metatarsal tubercle ; subarticular tubercles moderate. The hind limb being carried forwards along the body, the metatarsal tubercle reaches the eye. Skin warty above, with longitudinal glandular folds on the back.
