First Lapland Expressent Walls Stationshus of Timmer, built by SJ. Architect Folke June 19, 1903, the Lapland Express, the first fast and luxury train to Lapland from Stockholm Central. The train consisted of two sleeping carts in first class, a salon trolley, a restaurant carriage and a third class car for the service. The Lapland Express departed at four in the afternoon from the Central Station. 48 hours later the train arrived in Narvik
