The Fannichs, a range of Munroes, snow covered in the big freeze of 2010, Wester Ross, Scottish Highlands, with the A832 in the foreground, situated between Ullapool and Gairloch. The road, known as Destitution Road, was originally constructed at the time of the Potato blight in 1852, as a means of creating work for the starving local population.
