1008224135M-129 ARABIAN SEA (Aug. 22, 2010) Sailors perform a foreign object debris (FOD) walkdown on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). FOD walkdowns are performed to remove objects on the deck that can be sucked into a jet engine intake and cause severe damage to jet engine compressor blades and related components. Harry S.
