Anchor Mill building in Paisley, formerly, the finishing thread mill owned by J & J Clark. Now renovated, it is now residential.

Built in 1886, the 36,000 sq foot Anchor Mills, is built of red brick with sandstone balustrades around the top. By 1952, the mill complex was at its largest and covered a 51 acre site. It closed in 1980's and it lay empty and derelict for 20 years until a regeneration project saved the Mill. The partners were the Princes' Regeneration Trust, Morrisons, Renfrewshire Council, Historic Scotland, Scottish Enetrprise. It now has 60 high quality apartments and 2000 sq meters of office space.
