A painted wall mural at the Chinatown Heritage Centre in Pagoda Street in Chinatown, an old historic Chinese quarter in Singapore. Much of the old Colonial Chinatown has been demolished to make way for modern development in the 1998s’. Fortunately, some streets within the district have survived, and given conservation status thus retaining its old traditions and way of life. It is one of Singapore’s many popular tourist destinations.
