Porth Wen abandoned brickworks


Porth Wen abandoned brickworks on the north of the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. During its hey-day the factory produced millions of bricks that were shipped to local ports of Cardiff, Liverpool for onward shipping around the world. The factory specialised in the production of fire resistant bricks for use in furnaces. The factory closed in 1930.
