It was constructed in much the^ same form as the log boat, the forks of^^ the triangle being left longer, and selectedI with a view to securing a long curved^ runner; and the main stem was hewnl down, and left long enough to form a^ tongue, to which the oxen were attached.£ On top of the forked or runner part, wasfastened a rough floor, and a raised benchfor a seat.
