Concentrations of aluminum, cadmium, lead and zinc were generally low throughout the wetland. The maximum aluminum value was mg/L in well BC-l-S for April, 1987 saiaple trip. Aluminum was detected in 18 other samples from 7 other wells which all but one sample exhibited values lass than 1 mg/L. Only two samples contained cadmium in excess of mg/L, the recoxamended criteria for potable and irrigation water supplies. The two samples were obtained from sites BC-1-2 ( mg/L) and BC-l-S ( mg/L) both of which are in close proximity to the Swamp Gulch AMD discharge point. These two wells were also the 81.
