The inexpedience of depending too implicitly on the appearance ofone radiograph has already been demonstrated in this chapter. 39° APPENDIX Figure 439 shows the result of applying the principle of making justone exposure of a part and calling that a radiographic examination ofthe part. Figure 439 is intended to be a radiographic examination of allof the teeth, but most of the radiographs are so poor that it is really aradiographic examination of only a very small number of teeth. I cannot impress this point too strongly, the making of a radiographis equivalent to having a look at the part from one viewpoint.
