The names and locations of the Broadway theaters are inset into the pavement as a map in Duffy Square in Times Square in New York on Monday, January 6, 2014. "Spotlight on Broadway" is part of a multimedia project, including a website, that promotes the history of Broadway and the 40 theaters that make up the Great White Way. Broadway shows have a history of closing in January after the holidays and a number of shows closed over the last weekend, including "Annie", "Big Fish", "700 Sundays" with Billy Crystal and most famously "Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark" after three years.
