The 54 metre-wide central park footbridge spans over the River Lea close to the Olympic Stadium and Zaha Hadid’s Aquatics Centre and will be converted into two separate bridges following the Dublin-based studio’s design features two permanent stainless steel-clad footbridges which are linked by a central ‘blade-like’ walkway forming a Z-shaped structure.
