A dusky langur is having the worst hair day, PORT LYMPNE RESORT, KENT UK FROM an orangutan sticking up two fingers to a monkey suffering the worst hair day these images will be sure to brighten your morning. Images show a monkey with a static induced bed-head, an orangutan laughing as it flips off photographers, a cheeky lemur sticking its tongue out and even a giraffe swatting itself in the face with its tongue. These images were captured by photographer Gary Cox (52) from Manchester UK in zoos across the UK including Blackpool Zoo, Flamingo Land and Twycross Wildlife Park. Gary loves the challenge of getting the wildlife showing off their characters and knows that the perfect shot is mostly luck, and sometimes hours of waiting. ?It is mostly luck as you cannot predict when you will get a shot like this. You just have to have your camera ready at all times, ready to capture the unexpected,? said Gary. ?I love the Bonobo squeezing its friends head. The look on its face as he is getting his head squashed is priceless. ?I also love the lemur sticking its tongue out. It really looked like it was aimed specifically at me. ?Gorillas are one of my favourite animals to shoot. Their faces are so expressive and you can see when they are looking directly at you. ?Almost as if we are the ones that are really being observed, not them. ?The great apes always show a lot of character, as mentioned in the previous question. Their expressions are amazing. ?They always bring me joy. A lot of time I do not know when I have captured one of these special shots until I start post processing them. ?It is then a nice surprise and I can?t wait to create a final ENDS
