The pact, signed at Loudun (France) in 1634 between the subsigned demons for the soul of the monk Urbain Grandier. The mirror-written Latin, and its translation, are given in the main body of text, below. Note that six of the demons sign with sigils. The pact of alligiance, claimed to have been written in response in the same year, has also survived.
