Construction Exchange Project Jean-François Thomas de Thomon lasted from 1804 to 1810. Simultaneously, a special commission headed by Andreyan Zakharov, author of the Admiralty, solved the architectural design of the entire Vasilievsky Island. There appeared a beautiful area, Rostral columns, performing the role of lighthouses, and the granite ramp down to the river Neva. Unfinished at the time of the creation engraving depicts an architectural ensemble of the projects.
