The color is a true pink of an exquisite shade, soft and rich, and possesses a peculiar glow which makes it very attractive; it is equally beautiful by artificial light or daylight. The ealyx is strong and ample and does not burst. The size of flower is 3% to 4 inches in diameter under ordinary culture and often exceeds that. Its stems are strong and average 2 to 3 feet in length; its fragrance is delightful, and it is very prolific, more so than most of the standard varieties.
