Catarina Stefanoff, from Delta High School, smashes through a training door with a SWAT breaching tool during a demonstration at the Salt Lake Unified Police Department during Freedom Academy, July 11, 2022. The delegates learned the importance of SWAT in police forces and how they are one component of protecting the rights of society. Since 1961, the Utah National Guard and Honorary Colonels Corps have sponsored Freedom Academy and provided a challenging and engaging environment designed to teach young leaders the importance of freedom and that leadership is essential to its survival.
