Palestinian demonstrators are injured from tear gas inhalation and live and rubber bullets, and gas grenades fired by Israeli troops during an Israel-Gaza border fence protest, in the Abu Safiya area near Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip on January 18, 2019. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 14 Palestinian demonstrators were wounded at this Friday demonstration by Israeli live fire, two of whom medics. Beirut based Al Mayadeen tv channel has claimed that their correspondent in Gaza, Ahmad Ghanem, was injured in his foot by a gas grenade while covering the protest. B'tselem, an Israeli human rights group, has stated that since demonstrations in Gaza started in late March 2018, Israeli forces killed 190 Palestinian participants in the protests, most of whom "were unarmed and posed no danger to anyone"
