This localityhas since been known as the Scott Neighborhood, and in the vicinityis located the Scott cemetery, where many of the name have theirlast resting-place. Mr. Scott was a member of the Episcopalchurch, was a very exemplary and conscientious man and enjoyedthe confidence of the community. His descendants are numerousand are scattered through the southern tier of towns in the Provinceof Quebec, and have proved a thrifty and respected Jonathan Scott.
