TWO FINE NEW CARNATIONS. America. The ideal scarlet carnation has long been sought after, and many varieties claiming this distinction have been introduced, but after trial all have been found to lack some one of the many important points. In ' America ' we believe we have a variety destined to fill this place. It is a strong, vigorous grower, of medium height, of compact, healthy growth, and an early, free and continuous bloomer of easy culture. The flowers are from 2\ to 3 inches in diameter, deeply fringed and produced on stems 12 to 18 inches long.
