Remains at St Fillan's Priory established in C14th by Robert the Bruce in honour of the Irish Early Christian (C7th/C8th) missionary who settled here. Bruce carried the Holy arm of St Fillan to victory at the Battle of Bannockburn. Up to the early 1800s the priory remains, a nearby healing pool & St Fillan's bell (the Bernane) were used in cures for madness. At Kirkton Farm on the West Highland Way.
