I created this wildlife picture of a Bandit-masked raccoon on the Black Point Wildlife Drive in the Canaveral National Seashore. Coons are omnivorous.
Wildlife Drive in the Canaveral National Seashore. Coons are omnivorous animals that are also considered to be more carnivorous in habits. They are sometimes seen during full daylight as they return from a night’s foraging. They tend to be more carnivorous than omnivorous but eat enough berries and fruits to be considered as an omnivore. They appear to wash their food in water whenever possible before eating it.
