Douglas Manor, Douglaston, Queens, New York

The Greek Revival mansion was built as the country home of merchant Wyant Van Zandt (1767–1831). After Van Zandt’s death, the property was acquired by George Douglas. His son, William Proctor Douglas, inherited the property in 1862. He had the manor landscaped.
