(retired) Shayne Meder, a professional aircraft artist, removes masking from the full-color stars and bars she and a team of Pease Airmen applied to the side of the Sprit of Portsmouth, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, June 29. The Pease jet received a custom paint job to showcase the wing's National Guard heritage and rich history in the state of New Hampshire and honors both the 75th anniversary of the Air Force and the 400th anniversary of the founding of Portsmouth.
