An air rifle, German, circa 1760. Octagonal barrel with seven groove rifling in 10 mm calibre with dovetailed brass sights and engraved rococo ornamentation on the breech. Flintlock chiselled with hunting scenes in relief with set trigger and automatic shot counter. Walnut full stock with horn nosecap and a cloth covered, iron, compressed air reservoir in the buttstock. Brass furniture decorated with rococo and hunting ornamentation in relief.
