at the Blue Mosque in Mazar-i-Sharif, pose for a photo in front of the temple complex. The Blue Mosque is considered to be one of the most important and beautiful buildings in Afghanistan. The shrine, which houses the shrine (and supposedly the grave) of Hazrat Ali, Prophet Mohammed's son-in-law and cousin, was built in the 12th century, destroyed, and then the current mosque constructed in the 15th century. The mosque is especially revered by Shi'ite Moslems.
