ANATOMY, TRUNK
Model of the intern anatomy of the trunk of an asexual adult human body, face on. The organs of the thorax (lungs and heart) and the abdomen (right and left liver lobes in dark red, gallblader in ochre, stomach in pinkish beige, large intestine in brown and small intestine in nude, which is covered by the peritoneum, in orange-yellow, for the left half of the body) are visible. The large intestine is composed of the ascending (in the right abdominal side), transverse (horizontally), descending (left abdominal side) and sigmoid (not visible here) colons. The blood vascularization (arteries in red and veins in royal blue) is depicted for the thorax (subclavian artery and vein towards the clavicles). The stump of the left thigh reveals blood and lymph circulations (vessels in white and nodes in yellow).
