The Broome Street Bar on West Broadway in Soho in New York on Monday, June 23, 2014. The iconic Soho landmark has been sold for $12 million following the death of its 92 year old owner Kenn Reisdorff. Founded in 1972 with his brother Bob Reisdorff when Soho was an artists' community the building dates to 1825 and is possibly the oldest building in Soho. Media reports the new owner, Jon Krasner plans a gut renovation of the space creating a new bar and restaurant. (© Richard B. Levine)
